We offer a wide range of nurse clinics, these are FREE clinics, available daily throughout the week by appointment.
Weight Watchers Club – this is designed to help over weight animals lose weight steadily using a prescription diet. The nurse in consultation can offer advice and encouragement with regular ‘weigh ins’ to help your pet achieve a healthy weight.
Post Neuter Weight Checks – this is offered to pets 3 months after neutering to prevent any major weight increase.
Puppy Parties – puppies are great fun and are an asset to any family, but it can be hard work. We offer a set of 2 ‘parties’ for your puppy where they can socialize with other dogs and you can get help and advice. This is available for puppies that have had their 1st vaccination, between the ages of 8-14 weeks. The 1st session is a discussion with a veterinary nurse about preventative health care. The 2nd is where behaviour and training are the main theme.
Junior Club – this is a FREE service offered to animals between 5-7 months. This involves advice and discussions about any problems you as the pet owner are experiencing. This age group is classed as the adolescent stage and therefore there are specific things that we can help with.
Our Veterinary Nurses are available to weigh your animal, administer a worm tablet or flea treatment, remove ticks and clip nails. Just phone the surgery to arrange a time that would be good for you. The staff at Torbridge Vets are always ready to help offer a caring service to all our animals in all our branches.
